Friends and Families of Suicides (FFOS) Friends and Families of Suicides (FFOS) is an international e-mail group and Internet community, established on September 30, 2000. The mission is to offer understanding, support, information, and hope to anyone who has lost someone to suicide. Membership is international. The group is managed completely by members of the group, bereaved siblings, spouses, friends, grandparents, cousins, etc. For more information and an application to join, send an email to arlynsmom@cs.com. |

Parents of Suicides (POS) Internet Community Parents of Suicides (POS) Internet Community began on October 9, 1998. The mission of POS is to offer understanding, support, information, connections and hope to parents bereaved by suicide. Membership is international. International Suicide Memorial Wall The International Suicide Memorial Wall is located in Nashville, Tennessee where it is being cared for by the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network. It was dedicated to the memory of those who died by suicide on April 21, 2006 by members of the Parents of Suicides - Friends and Families of Suicides Internet community. The Wall holds about 900 photo tiles commemorating people from all over the world. It is hoped that the Wall will provide comfort to friends and family members left behind, and that it will help educate those who see it in person. Visit here |

Faces of Suicide Memorial Wall The Faces of Suicide site is a visual memorial of those that have left us too soon. The main page shows a random selection of 100 faces. Refresh the page so that the faces are shuffled. Each face has its own remembrance window. You can see it by clicking on the photo. You can also search for individual faces by using the search box. Faces of Suicide The Faces of Suicide site is a visual memorial of those that have left us too soon. There are about 4,500 photos of faces on this site as of April 15, 2024. The photos appear randomly. (Refreshing re-randomizes the photos.) You can also search for people by last name or location, and, there is a button to click to bring up all photos in alphabetical order by last name. Visit here. |
